Morgan Canipe
Morgan Canipe is a rising leader in the skilled trades industry, currently serving as a Mechanical Foreman at Stellar Energy. With a strong background in MIG, flux-core welding, and pipe fitting, Morgan leads fabrication crews on large-scale industrial and data center projects, ensuring precision, quality, and safety on every job site. She is known not only for her technical excellence but for her hands-on leadership style and ability to keep projects moving under pressure. Morgan’s early promotion in a male-dominated field reflects her work ethic, determination, and talent—qualities that have defined her from the start of her career.
Morgan knew from an early age that college wasn’t the path for her. When she saw a welding flag hanging on a wall, she immediately knew, “That’s what I’m going to do.” She enrolled at Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville and committed herself fully to mastering the craft. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys a quieter, creative side—knitting, sewing, canning, and currently working on a handmade quilt. Family remains a core part of her life, grounding her both personally and professionally. Through hard work, grit, and a passion for her trade, Morgan continues to break barriers and inspire others—especially young women—who want to forge their own path in the trades.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to working hard, consistently showing up, gaining hands-on experience as a welder, and recently earning a promotion to Superintendent.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was from my high school ROTC teacher who encouraged me to just go for it.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is that they can achieve anything they put their minds to by working hard and showing up every day.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is being a woman in a male-dominated industry and working hard to make a name for myself.

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty and integrity.
